Joris is an intern in the Organoid Phenotyping group, where he’s working on a terabyte-scale microscopy image processing pipeline. His interest is in biomedical applications of data science and machine learning, in the past he has worked on image analysis algorithms at ABB, electrophysiological data processing in the Institute of Neuroinformatics at ETH, trainable prosthesis control in the Biomechatronics group at MIT and biologically inspired online training for recurrent neural networks at IBM.
