Sabrina is an intern with the Roche Cell and Organoid Biorepository (RoCOB) team. She holds a degree in Biotechnology Engineering from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) in Mexico and a MSc in Molecular Life Sciences from the University of Bern. Alongside her academic achievements, she gained expertise in iPSC differentiation, brain organoid production and myeloid progenitor cell differentiation, with a focus on standardisation, optimization, and cell differentiation techniques. At IHB, Sabrina is focused on establishing an advanced adipose organoid model for use in drug screening, development of novel therapeutic interventions and long-term cryopreservation.
