Bo Kyoung is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Applied Organoid Technologies team. She is passionate about understanding the pathophysiology of degenerative retinal diseases, with a particular focus on the neurovascular interactions and inflammatory cell death that contribute to vision loss. Her research aims to bridge the gap between discovery research and clinical interventions by developing advanced human 3D in vitro disease models that can facilitate phenotypic screening. Through this approach, she aspires to identify novel druggable pathways that could lead to targeted therapies for retinal degenerative diseases.
