Ryoko is a Principal Associate in the Metabolic Homeostasis group. Prior to coming to IHB, she obtained a registered nutritionist license in Japan, and continued her research career in medical science as a biologist. Her fields of expertise are oncology and stem cell biology. At IHB, she applies knowledge from her background to enhance the cutting-edge projects of the Metabolic Homeostasis group. She is with our active contribution to the industry-wide 3R ambitions (reduce, refine, replace), aiming to reduce the future need for animals in research. Ryoko contributes to establishing and characterising physiological in vitro models to understand adipose tissue biology with a commitment to the highest sustainability considerations.
