Mitra is a scientist at the interface of the neurogenomics lab in pRED’s Neuroscience department and the Developmental Systems and Computational Biology group, implementing multifaceted approaches to understand cell-to-cell communication in the central nervous system. She designs custom microfluidics and engineers brain organoids in the context of neurological diseases, with a focus on neurodevelopmental disorders and Alzheimer’s disease.
