The Institute of Human Biology (IHB) at Roche in Basel, Switzerland, is offering an internship position for a motivated researcher to join our team. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to learn and contribute to IHB’s cutting-edge research using advanced 3D human organoid systems to model and explore human health and disease. Your research will involve the development of new tools for CRISPR screening in complex intestinal organoid models, involving co-cultures of epithelial and immune cells. These experiments aim at dissecting the roles of genetic drivers of intestinal transformation, and their role in modulating crosstalk with tissue-resident immune cells.
You are currently enrolled in a university M.Sc. program in relevant subjects such as immunology, molecular biology, bioengineering, or a related field, or you have completed your degree in the respective subjects within the past 12 months.
