Julia is an intern in the Organoid Engineering Group where she will be characterising the presence of human integrins on T cells and their subsequent role in gut homeostasis and inflammation. She will also assist with research on the interaction between colorectal tumours and the immune microenvironment. She holds a BSc in Molecular Biomedicine and is currently enrolled in the MSc in Molecular Biosciences at the University of Heidelberg with a focus on cancer biology.
