Cayetano is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Organoid Engineering group. At IHB, he will focus on the interaction between colorectal tumours and the immune microenvironment. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of León and his Master’s from the Free University of Amsterdam. Afterwards, he received his PhD from Utrecht University, where he studied the impact of mutagenic bacteria in colorectal cancer using organoid cocultures.
