Saba is a Scientist in the Multi-Tissue Systems Engineering group. She obtained her PhD from EPFL where she developed synthetic matrices for epithelial organoid culture and disease modelling. After her PhD, she completed a two-year Innovation postdoctoral fellowship at Novartis, where she developed and applied organoid-based models of kidney diseases. Currently, Saba is applying her expertise in matrix engineering and organoid-based disease modelling for multiple projects at IHB.
