Olga Mitrofanova

Olga is a Postdoctoral Fellow developing advanced intestinal organoid-based models for translational applications in drug testing and disease modelling. She studied Biology at Kazan Federal University and later received her master’s degree at Dresden University of Technology with a focus on Regenerative Biology and Medicine. She then obtained her PhD from EPFL where she established human large and small intestinal organoids-on-chips and studied the interplay between epithelium and mesenchyme.
