Andrea works between the Multi-Tissue Systems Engineering group and pRED’s Neuroscience and Rare Disease therapeutic area, where he develops new in vitro human models of neurodegenerative diseases to support portfolio activities and the understanding of drug mechanisms of action. His fields of research and expertise include: cell and molecular biology, stem cell biology, developmental biology, neuroscience, bioengineering, microfluidic/organs-on-chips, bioinformatics.
