Philip is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Microtechnologies team. He is working on developing a blood brain barrier model and the corresponding infrastructure for flow sensing, control, and automation. Philip grew up in California and received his bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of California at Berkeley. Further, he received an MSc and PhD in micro/millifluidic automation for stem cell biology from the D-BSSE, ETH Zurich in Basel.
