Ludwig is a Senior Research Associate and he manages the Microfabrication facility, helping integrate biosensors into fluidic platforms. Before joining the IHB, he worked for four years as a Microsystem Technologies Engineer at Roche Diagnostics, where he developed, manufactured and characterised electrochemical biosensors. He is also experienced in 3D printing, injection moulding, micro milling, and screen printing. Ludwig holds two BSc degrees, one in Microsystems Technologies and another in Molecular Biology, and completed his MSc thesis at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology where he developed an organ-on-chip microfluidic platform.
